In total, we are looking for a building of about 5,000 square feet with parking for 50 cars and an outside courtyard/seating/garden space. The space requirements are:

Chapel	1600 square feet for seating up to 150 comfortably. Code minimum requires 1050 square feet.
Reception area/function room	1000 square feet to comfortably accommodate 150 people standing, sitting, eating, talking: 7 square feet per person minus tables, furniture etc.
Foyer/coat room	250 square feet. 50 lineal feet of wall space to accommodate 150 coats, be it pegs or coat rack: 4 inches per coat. Small wood lockers for purses, cell phones, keys, etc.
Book room	200 square feet.
Kitchen/ flower arranging space	200 square feet.
Bathrooms	New space should have four toilets and four sinks each for men and women. Must be handicap accessible. 200 square feet total.
Meeting room	175 square feet
Ushers' closet, locked safe, audio visual storage	100 square feet.
Sunday School rooms	Two rooms times 175 square feet each: 350 square feet.
Storage	500 square feet for pictures, flower vases, Christmas decor, socials committee needs, Sunday school supplies, cleaning supplies and vacuum, free literature and misc. items.
Parking	50 cars. Whether off street or on depends on zoning requirements in each area.
Monastic space	Two small (100 square foot each) monastic rooms with shared bath for visiting monks/nuns.
